This Privacy Policy explains how Lever AI LLC ("Lever AI," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with our website at useleverai.com, our consulting and automation services, and the software systems we build and operate for our clients (collectively, the "Services").

Lever AI builds custom automation and software for businesses. In some engagements we operate systems on a client's behalf that send transactional messages (including SMS/text messages) to that client's staff, contractors, or customers. Where we act as a service provider or processor for a client, that client's own privacy notice also applies to their end users.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

Contact and inquiry information — your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the contents of any message you send through our website contact form or by email.
Client and project information — information exchanged while scoping, building, or supporting an engagement.

Information collected through systems we operate for clients

Contact identifiers such as names, email addresses, and mobile phone numbers, entered by a client's authorized administrators or by end users themselves.
Consent records — whether a person has opted in to receive text messages, and when.
Operational records such as appointments, bookings, memberships, and message delivery logs, as needed to provide the client's service.

Information collected automatically

Standard server and hosting logs (e.g., IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) generated when you visit our website.

2. How We Use Information

To respond to inquiries and provide, operate, support, and improve the Services.
To build, run, and maintain automation and messaging systems for our clients.
To send transactional and operational messages that a recipient has consented to receive (see SMS / Text Messaging below).
To secure our systems, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use personal information for behavioral advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

3. SMS / Text Messaging

Lever AI operates SMS programs for itself and on behalf of client businesses. These programs send transactional and operational messages only — for example, notifications to an instructor or staff member when a customer books or cancels an appointment, appointment reminders, and account or service notifications. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through these programs.

How consent is obtained

Through an opt-in checkbox in a client's administrative software, actively selected (not pre-checked) by an authorized administrator on the recipient's behalf as part of staff onboarding, or
directly by the recipient through a web form or account setting, or
by the recipient providing their mobile number together with an express verbal or written agreement to receive the messages.

Program terms

Message frequency varies based on activity (for example, one message each time a booking is made or cancelled).
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at cline@useleverai.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in, or consent information with any third party for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information collected as part of the SMS consent process is used solely to deliver the messages you have agreed to receive, and is shared only with the subprocessors that make delivery possible (see Section 4). Mobile opt-in data is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as described here:

Subprocessors and service providers that operate parts of the Services under contract, including: Twilio (SMS delivery), Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (application database and backend hosting), Formspree (website contact form), and Netlify / GitHub Pages (website hosting). These providers may process information only to perform services for us.
Our clients, where we operate a system on their behalf and the information belongs to that client's business.
Legal and safety — when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lever AI, our clients, or the public.
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell personal information and do not disclose it to third parties for their independent marketing.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain records of consent and transactions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Where we process information on behalf of a client, retention follows that client's instructions and our agreement with them.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

Text messages — opt out at any time by replying STOP.
Access, correction, or deletion — you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. If we process that information for a client, we will refer your request to that client and assist as required.
Email — you can ask us to stop sending non-transactional email at any time.

To make a request, contact cline@useleverai.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party sites we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy practices.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
